A Joyful Noise–

I love to sing. I love music. I love song lyrics. I love hymns. I love a song that can make me dance. (You would never actually see me dance, nor believe that I do, because I only dance for myself) But I love it.

So…I’m finally, finally, letting it be known. This is why I’m creating this page. At some point in the future, I may just have a running list of all the songs that have meant something to me at some point or another in my life. For example: Everybody by Ingrid Michaelson, a recent song I’ve come across, makes me feel cheery, and want to dance. And of course, who doesn’t want to be loved or be able to love, anyway?

So…with that said. Let me post a few treats on here:

Make a joyful noise to Jehovah, all the earth.
Serve Jehovah with rejoicing;
Come before His presence with joyful singing.”
– – Psalm 100:1-2

“Sing it for the boys, sing it for the girls,
Every time you lose it, sing it for the world
Sing it from the heart
Sing it till you’re nuts
Sing it out for the one who’ll hate your guts
Sing it for the deaf
Sing it for the blind
Sing about everyone you left behind
Sing it for the world, sing it for the world
Sing it out.”
– – My Chemical Romance’s “Sing” (Glee’s version)

And…a personal favorite:

“There are places I’ll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All this places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I’ve loved them all”
– – ‘In my Life’ by the Beatles (also, the Glee version)
